About Sapulpa, OK

Sapulpa was named for "Chief" James Sapulpa, a Lower Creek leader who established a trading post here around 1850, and was incorporated in 1898. The Frisco Railway made Sapulpa a major rail hub until its shops moved to Tulsa in 1927, and the 1905 discovery of the Glenn Pool oil field just southeast of town brought a second wave of growth. Sapulpa won a hard-fought 1913 Oklahoma Supreme Court decision to become the Creek County seat over neighboring Bristow, and today its 1914 courthouse and downtown historic district are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The town is also home to Frankoma Pottery, one of Oklahoma's best-known manufacturers, and sits along the original alignment of historic Route 66. Sapulpa's population has grown to nearly 22,000 residents.

General and Preventive Dentistry for Every Stage of Life

General and preventive dentistry is where most dental care begins. These visits help us monitor your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health so we can identify changes that may need attention.

Our preventive services include dental exams, professional cleanings, digital X-rays when appropriate, oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and personalized home-care guidance.

For children, preventive visits may include fluoride or sealants when appropriate. Teens may need help with hygiene, cavity prevention, or orthodontic questions. Adults may need routine monitoring for decay, gum concerns, worn teeth, or existing restorations.

You do not need to wait until something hurts to schedule an appointment. Routine care gives us a chance to check your smile, answer questions, and recommend treatment when needed.

Routine Teeth Cleanings for Sapulpa Patients

A professional cleaning removes plaque and tartar from areas that can be difficult to reach with regular brushing and flossing. We also polish the teeth and review home-care habits that may help you between visits.

During the same appointment, we can examine your teeth and gums and recommend X-rays or other preventive services when appropriate.

Some patients need cleanings more often than others, so we recommend a schedule based on your individual oral health.

Cosmetic Dentistry for the Smile You Want

If there is something about your smile you would like to change, we can talk about cosmetic options that may fit your goals. Cosmetic dentistry can address concerns involving tooth color, small chips, gaps, uneven edges, or other visible changes.

Our cosmetic services include:

  • Professional teeth whitening
  • Dental veneers
  • Dental bonding
  • Gum contouring
  • Inlays and onlays
  • Orthodontic options

Teeth whitening can help brighten stained or discolored teeth. Veneers cover the front surface of selected teeth and may be considered for concerns involving shape, color, gaps, or visible imperfections. Bonding uses tooth-colored resin to repair smaller chips, cracks, or spots.

Gum contouring may change the balance between visible gum tissue and teeth. Inlays and onlays can restore moderate areas of damage while preserving healthy tooth structure.

Before recommending cosmetic treatment, we review your oral health and discuss what you want to change.

Dental Implants for Missing Teeth

If you are missing one tooth, several teeth, or need more support for a denture, dental implants may be one option to discuss.

A dental implant uses a titanium post placed in the jaw to replace the root portion of a missing tooth. A crown, bridge, or denture can then be supported by implants depending on the treatment plan.

We offer several implant options, including:

  • Single-tooth implants
  • Implant-supported bridges
  • Implant-supported overdentures
  • Fixed full-arch implant treatment

The right option depends on how many teeth are missing, your oral health, available bone, medical history, and other clinical factors. We use an evaluation and imaging to determine whether implant treatment may be appropriate.

If implants are not the right fit, we can also discuss bridges, dentures, and partial dentures.

More Dental Services Available to Sapulpa Families

Dental needs do not always fit neatly into one category. Along with preventive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, we provide additional services that may help when your needs change.

Our broader services include crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, sports dentistry, TMJ treatment, braces, and Invisalign.

A crown may help protect a damaged or weakened tooth. Bridges, dentures, and partials provide other options for replacing missing teeth. Sedation dentistry is available for patients who may need additional help feeling comfortable during treatment.

We also provide orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults. Braces and clear aligner options may be considered after an evaluation of tooth position and bite.

If you are unsure what to schedule, we can start with an exam and guide you from there.
