"Oral surgery" covers a variety of procedures, from tooth extraction to gum restoration. Endicott Dental offers several oral surgery services that can improve the look of your smile or boost your oral health.
We know how important your smile is to you. That's why we offer a range of oral surgery services, so you can stick with a dentist you trust for all of your oral health needs. We believe in taking a holistic approach when it comes to your oral health. So whether you need dental implants, teeth removal, gum reduction or expansion, or bone grafts, we have you covered.
We offer tooth extraction services to remove one or two teeth or remove all in preparation for dentures.
Bone grafting can repair parts of your jawbone damaged by an accident or decay. Bone grafting may be needed for dental implants.
Receding gums can expose the root of the tooth, which can accelerate decay. We can attach tissue to the gums to protect exposed roots.
Too much gum can cover the tooth, making it difficult to fit crowns. We can cut away excess gums and prepare your teeth for crowns.
Sometimes, oral health treatment requires more than what standard dental services or orthodontics can provide. That's why we offer oral surgery solutions that can improve your smile, rebuild your bone structure and make it easier to eat. Our oral surgery solutions can improve your oral health, which improves your overall health.
We provide these services because we care about more than just your teeth. We want you to depend on us for all your oral health needs. We treat our patients like family, and we want you to have the same care we would give to our own family members. In other words, you can count on us for exceptional comprehensive care!
Request An AppointmentYes! We do tooth extraction, including wisdom teeth. That includes wisdom teeth that are fully extended or those still impacted in the jawbone.
It depends on the procedures. Insurance will cover some necessary oral surgery but not cosmetic-related surgery. We will work with you to determine whether your insurance will cover your procedure.
Times vary depending on the procedure, but in general, most oral surgeries take 1-2 hours.
In general, recovery can be in as little as 2-3 days. However, you should avoid hard or crunchy foods for up to 6-8 weeks after oral surgery.
